Denmark Occupation List

The Positive List is a list of occupations which are in shortage in Denmark. Foreign workers from outside the European Union are eligible for Work and Residence Permits under the Positive List scheme if they have a job offer in one of these occupations from a Danish employer. The applicants under Denmark’s Green Card Scheme are eligible for bonus points if they have experience in an Occupation on the Positive List. These have particularly easy access to the Danish Labor Market.

They require a Danish authorization. Salary and employment conditions need to correspond to Danish standards. An educational level equivalent to the job position is mandatory. When the applicant gets a residence and Work Permit on the grounds of an unlimited job contract, the duration of permit is four years.
